Graduation from NIT Durgapur
He did his graduation from NIT Durgapur and after his studies, he got a job in a good company at a good salary. But Pawan was not satisfied with this, because he had a desire for civil services. In such a situation, he started preparing for UPSC exam from the year 2015 along with his job. In the years 2015 and 2016, he did not pass prelims, so he decided to leave the job. There was failure in 2017 also. In 2018, he cleared the Civil Services Preliminary Examination as well as the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Preliminary Examination.

Indian Forest Service Officer in 2021
After this he took the Indian Engineering Services (IES) examination and passed the examination with AIR 17. He took the job and worked as Assistant Works Manager for Indian Railways in Kapurthala, Punjab. Gave the Civil Services and IFS examination again in the year 2020 but could not succeed in the interview. Even after so many failures, Pawan did not lose courage and took the IFS exam in 2021 and was appointed to the post of Indian Forest Service Officer with AIR 90.
