Salaar : Part 1, Ceasefire has literally taken it by storm since its release. Full of action and drama, this film has set an example of success at the box office. And has crossed the 500 crore mark worldwide. While the audience enjoyed this action entertainer on the big screen, they are now waiting for Salaar 2. In such a situation, a good news has come out for the fans excited to know more about Salar 2. Producer Vijay Kiragandur of Homble Films himself has confirmed this news. That the sequel of Salaar will hit the big screens by the end of 2025.

Recently in an interview, producer Vijay Kiragandur was seen talking about Salaar 2. During this he said, "The script of Salaar 2 is ready. And we'll start the movie any minute. Prabhas wants to take it on the floors as soon as possible. And Prashant also wants to do the same. We are talking about Salar 2. And in the last 2 to 3 days our discussion was about making the film in the next 15 months. We will definitely release Salar 2 in 2025, which is about 18 months from now.”

He further added, “Saalar is a celebration for Prabhas fans across the world. We are quite satisfied with the numbers and responses. Yes, there are some negative things but no one has complained regarding the making, scale and drama. People got to see Prabhas as an angry young man for the first time in 20 years." He also said, "Prabhas is also in full celebratory mood and is asking about the schedule of Part 2. He Very happy with the film and want to start Salaar 2 soon.

Additionally, the maker has promised an even bigger cinematic experience with Salaar 2. He said, “Salar 1 is just a glimpse of the second part. You can take it as a trailer and part two will be much bigger in terms of action and scale. Prashanth introduced all the characters in the first part and now, Salaar 2 will be like Game of Thrones with a lot of drama, politics and action. The cliffhanger you just saw – there will be more in the next episode.”

Interestingly, Salaar 2 revolves around two best friends – Prabhas and Prithviraj, who become their worst enemies. The reason for which are the political aspects happening in Khansar.

Hombale Films' Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire is directed by filmmaker Prashant Neel. And it stars Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Jagapathi Babu. Whereas, the film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur. This film has now reached theatres.
