Haryana News: 22.89 lakh families of Haryana will get the benefit of Haryana Antyodaya Transport Scheme. This includes about 84 lakh people with annual income up to Rs 100,000. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal himself gave information about this scheme on Friday. This scheme will cost an estimated Rs 600 crore.

What is Antyodaya Family Transport Scheme?

Under the Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana i.e. ‘Happy’ scheme launched by the Haryana Government, the Antyodaya families of Haryana will get the benefit of free bus travel. Under this scheme, those Antyodaya families whose annual income is less than one lakh. They will be given the facility of free travel up to thousand km.

Objective of the plan

The objective of Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana is to provide free bus travel to poor families. So that their life can improve. Now Antyodaya families will not have to spend money for travel. Under this scheme, all members of the Antyodaya family will be able to travel up to a thousand km free of cost. This scheme is a step taken towards making Antyodaya families socially and economically strong and self-reliant.

Eligibility to avail the benefits of the scheme

• To avail the benefit of Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana, it is mandatory for you to be a native of Haryana.
• Only Antyodaya families of Haryana will be eligible for this scheme.
• The annual income of the family availing this scheme should be less than Rs 1 lakh.
• Only those families can avail the benefit of this scheme. Which has more than three members.
