Financial assistance is given to poor families under the Chief Minister Dayalu Scheme.

Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh is given in case of sudden death of a member of a family with income less than Rs 1.80 lakh. Under the Chief Minister Dayalu Scheme, an amount of Rs 108 crore was being released to 2200 families of the state. Nayab Singh Saini said that assistance is given if a member of a poor family aged between 6 years to 60 years dies due to a sudden accident or becomes 70% disabled.

Assistance amount has been sent directly to the accounts of the beneficiaries

This includes Rs 1 lakh for 6 to 12 years of age, Rs 2 lakh for 12 to 18 years of age, Rs 3 lakh for 18 to 25 years of age, Rs 5 lakh for 25 to 45 years of age and Rs 3 lakh for 45 to 60 years of age. Financial assistance of Rs. This benefit also includes the amount of Rs 2 lakh received under the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima scheme in the age group of 18 to 40 years. Under this scheme, so far an amount of Rs 166 crore 23 lakh has been directly transferred to the bank accounts of 4327 beneficiaries.
