Hisar Airport: There is a good news for the citizens of Hisar district of Haryana state. Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala said that flights to many major cities of the country will start from Hisar airport from April this year. Allianz Air officials have had a comprehensive discussion in this regard today. And an agreement will be signed soon.

Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala is also in charge of the Civil Aviation Department. Chairing a joint meeting of civil aviation and airlines officials here today, he said that air connectivity in the state would be built on the principle of "State VGF (Viable Gap Funding)" so that passengers do not have to pay higher fares.

Flights will start in these cities

He said that there is a plan to run 70 seater aircraft from Maharaja Agrasen Airport, Hisar to Chandigarh, Kullu, Jammu, Delhi, Jaipur and Ahmedabad. These routes will be revisited after three months of launch and as per passenger demand, flights will be started to Ambala, Lucknow and Varanasi.
