Bullet Train in India: India's Bullet Train running between Mumbai to Sabarmati in Gujarat will be similar to Japan's Shinkansen E-5 series Bullet Train, but it is being designed keeping the Indian environment in mind. Having the capacity to carry 690 passengers, this train will have first class, business class and economy class i.e. standard class, just like an aeroplane. Whereas the seats will be more comfortable and luxurious than in flights. Regarding other features of the train, officials of National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) said that initially this train will have 10 coaches. Later, as per requirement, it can be increased to 16 coaches.

There will be 15 seats in the first class of the train. Whereas 55 passengers will be able to sit in business class and 620 in economy class. There will also be a toilet with more space inside the train than in the plane. It will also have a separate room where if a woman wants to breastfeed her child, she will get privacy. Also, even if a passenger is ill, he will be able to rest in that room.
There will also be facility of reading lamp
The coaches inside the train will have overhead luggage racks for storing luggage, just like an airplane. There will be no reduction in leg space between the two seats. First and business class seats will be able to move. Along with LED lighting, the facility of reading lamp will also be provided in these. So that if anyone wants to study or work inside the train, he can also do so. There will also be other facilities including charging of mobile phones, laptops and other devices.
Trial run will take place in 2026
This train, running a distance of 508 km between Sabarmati and Mumbai, will be trial run between Surat to Bilimora in Gujarat in 2026. Where this train will run at its maximum operational speed of 320 km per hour. By the way, this train will also be able to run at a speed of 350 km per hour.
