Chandigarh :- Haryana Government is continuously making efforts for the development of the state. Development works are being carried out continuously in the state. The state will develop when the cities and villages of the state develop. CM has recently given administrative approval to two new projects under rural development works in Palwal district. On completion of both these projects, it will cost more than Rs 12 crore.

These works are included in Rewari project

Giving information, a government spokesperson said that under one of these two projects, construction work of canal-based industrial water works at Rohrai, Rewari, pumping station for fresh water and Kosli will be done at a cost of Rs 10.43 crore. With the completion of this project, doors of employment will open for the residents of Rewari and they will also get all the facilities available in their own district.

Work to be done in Palwal district under second project

Apart from this, under the second project, construction of 100 KL capacity UGT, installation of 2 tube wells and laying of distribution line will be done in village Panchka of Hathin tehsil of Palwal district. This project will cost approximately Rs 2.27 crore on completion. Keeping in mind the facilities of the citizens, Haryana Government has decided to start work on these projects as soon as possible.

Demand for water is increasing day by day

At present, water is supplied to Rohrai village from Rojhuwas, Rewari through a canal based scheme. Presently the water supply is 52 LPCD. Which is not enough. In view of the increasing demand for water, a canal will be constructed to supply 70 LPCD water. Apart from this, the spokesperson said that Haryana stands first in providing piped water supply in rural areas. In Haryana, apart from government sources, private water connection facilities have been established in the villages.
