Cold Havoc in UP, Kids & Old People all Worried
UP Weather: There is severe cold in Uttar Pradesh (Up Latest News). Cold wave continues in most of the districts of the state including Lucknow. IMD said that people are leaving these areas. Because the weather is not likely to change for the next three to four days. There will be mild sunshine (weather in UP) on Sunday and Monday, but cold will increase due to westerly wind, says the Meteorological Department (IMD).
Cold will continue in more than 45 districts of Purvanchal and West including the capital, meteorologist Muhammad Danish said. Light to moderate fog has been warned in many districts including Lucknow. The day temperature was below normal in many districts of the west including Meerut.

The night temperature in Meerut (weather conditions above) was the lowest at 5.9 degrees Celsius. It will decline further. No respite from cold is expected till January 16. The minimum temperature in Prayagraj dropped to five degrees Celsius on Thursday as the cyclonic western disturbance approached from the northwest. Heavy melting throughout the night left people in distress.
