Meteorologists are detecting signs of a possible cyclonic storm developing in the Arabian Sea. The situation regarding its intensity is not clear at present. A cyclonic circulation pattern is expected to form a low pressure area over the Southeast Arabian Sea and adjacent coast soon.
According to the situation information of the Indian Meteorological Department, a cyclonic circulation has been observed over Lakshadweep area, Southeast Arabian Sea and Kerala coast. It is believed that it extends up to 3.1 kilometers above mean sea level. Giving an update, IMD has said that under its influence, a low pressure area is likely to develop over the southeast and adjoining east central Arabian Sea in the next 48 hours.
After which it is expected to move towards west-northwest. In such a situation, a pressure area may develop over the central Arabian Sea around October 21. Due to the cyclone, its impact can be seen on Mumbai, Goa, Pune and surrounding areas. At present scientists are keeping an eye on it.
Wind can blow at a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour. However, its effect can be seen in Lakshadweep, Comorin region including Arabia. There will be clouds in the sky. The weather is expected to change from October 22.
Light rain in some parts
Today light rain can be seen in some parts of Kerala, Karnataka and Telangana Orissa. Fog will be seen in Lucknow with the arrival of winter. The sky will be clear in Delhi. However, mild cold may be experienced in the morning and evening. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry in most areas of India from 18 to 20 October. A slight drop in temperature can be seen in some areas of Punjab and Haryana including the capital Delhi. However, the weather will remain pleasant due to strong wind. This time, the onset of winter is being seen in the state before time. Talking about the withdrawal of monsoon, monsoon has completely departed from Eastern India.

Sporadic rain in some areas
Sporadic rain may be seen in some areas of coastal Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand including Sikkim, North-East India. Due to snowfall in the mountains, increase in cold in the morning and evening will be seen in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, while in Haryana and Punjab also the effect of western disturbance can be seen for two days. There is a possibility of light rain in some areas. By the time Durga Puja ends, the cold may increase in many states.
