NDMC: As you know. That air pollution is continuously increasing in Delhi. Due to which it is becoming difficult for people to breathe. Now a big decision has been taken by Delhi Municipal Council in this regard. NDMC has advised people to reduce the use of private vehicles. Also, to promote public transport, parking fees have been increased to almost double. Giving the same information, it was told that the fourth phase of GRAP has been implemented in Delhi. In which there is a provision to increase parking fees to promote public transport.

Parking fee increased to double

In this direction, Delhi Municipal Council has now doubled the parking fee till 31 January 2024. Giving information, it was told that this is going to be applicable on both on-road and off-road vehicles. There are a total of 91 parking spaces in the New Delhi Municipal Council area. Of these, only 41 are managed by NDMC. While the remaining sites are maintained by other agencies. Parking space between Rajpath and AIIMS, Sarojini Nagar Market, Khan Market, Lodhi Road etc. all come under the jurisdiction of NDMC. And often more traffic is also seen on these.
