This proposal of the state government has also been approved by the Union Road Transport Ministry. Giving information in this regard, it was said that it is expected that the work will be completed from New Delhi to Jalandhar in the first phase. That this work can be completed this year itself. This expressway is going to start from Jasaur Khedi village of Jhajjar district.

This expressway will originate from Kundli Manesar Palwal only, there will be a link between Delhi-Katra Expressway and KMP. Due to which the drivers will not have to face any kind of problem while commuting. To go from Jasore Khedi village to New Delhi, only the already existing road will be used, that is, no new road will be constructed. The state government had sent a suggestion to the Union Ministry to connect this road beyond Jasore Khedi up to Bahadurgarh Bypass. In this regard, the argument was made that after being connected to Bahadurgarh Bypass, commuting to Delhi will become easier than before.

After the construction of the expressway, people will be able to easily reach Amritsar from New Delhi in about four hours and Katra in six hours. Delhi to Katra is 727 km away by road. After the construction of this expressway, this distance will be reduced to 58 km. Giving information, it was told that the expressway is going to be 137 km long in Haryana, 399 km long in Punjab and 135 km long in Jammu and Kashmir. In the same state, it will also pass through Sonipat, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Karnal and Kaithal. The work of the expressway being built from Delhi towards Katra is being done at a very fast pace. It is expected. That the work of the first phase can be completed this year itself. In the second phase further construction will be done till Katra. This expressway, starting from Jasore Khedi in Bahadurgarh, has now been connected till Bahadurgarh bypass.
