Tender process will start
After the completion of the tender process, if everything goes well, the private company will run the Metro on the Violet Line from September 2024, say sources. At the same time, in 2021, the operation of the metro on the Yellow Line was handed over to private companies. The contract here will end next year. Sources said that the private company will run for six years. The expenditure of this scheme will be Rs 96.29 crore.
After the tender allotment, the company will have to appoint train drivers within two and a half months. After this, DMRC will give two and a half months training to the drivers. After training, company employees will have to pass an examination. You will get at least two chances for this exam. He will be retained if he does not pass the test twice. Train drivers will not get more than 48 hours of work in a week.
