Estimated cost of expenditure Rs 1,517 crore

GDA vice-chairman RK Singh said the expansion of the metro line will cost around Rs 1,517 crore. However, the full expenditure will be known only after receiving the new DPR from DMRC. RK Singh, who was also the District Magistrate of Ghaziabad, said that the equal distribution of expenses between GDA and Housing Board is absolutely right. He said that Indirapuram (GDA) and Vasundhara (Housing Board) will cross this corridor. Therefore, both the agencies should spend equal amount.
