Delhi Metro: Working on a new project for its fourth phase. According to DMRC, approval has been given to build three more corridors under Delhi Metro Phase – 4. The approval process of two out of three corridors is in the final stages in the Union Urban Development Ministry. And one project is to be expanded to Kundli in Haryana. Therefore its project details will be prepared again.

The work will be completed by 2024

A total of four projects have been built in the fourth phase. In which till now work is going on on three corridors of 65.10 km. Work is going on from Tughlakabad to Aerocity, Mukundpur to Maujpur and Janakpuri West to RK Ashram. Hopes are being expressed. That finally the work of Mukundpur to Maujpur corridor will be completed in 2024. Along with this, the work of two corridors is expected to be completed by the year 2025.

Delhi Metro expansion

Delhi Metro is being expanded. For the expansion of Delhi Metro, three corridors, Lajpat Nagar to Saket G Block, Indralok to Indraprastha and Rithala – Bawana – Narela corridor have not been approved yet. But out of these three, two corridors from Lala Lajpat Nagar to Saket G Block and Indralok to Indraprastha are in the race for the final approval process. For information, let us tell you that earlier there was a plan to run metro line train on Narela route, but keeping in mind the plan of Narela Subcity, a proposal has been made to run normal metro again.

Connectivity will be better

After completion of all these projects of Delhi Metro, common people will get a lot of convenience in transportation. After this, Ballimaran, Indralok, Daya Basti, Sarai Rohilla, Nabi Karim, LNJP Hospital and Daryaganj area of Old Delhi will be directly connected to the metro network. With this, direct connectivity between the Silver Line and Magenta Line will be started. After this, people of Faridabad will be able to reach Delhi Airport directly by metro.
