Delhi Pollution: Due to rain, there was a significant improvement in the amount of pollution in Delhi. But after Diwali, the problem of pollution seems to be increasing again. Due to which people living in Delhi will have to face the restrictions of GRAP-4 till the next order of the government.

Environment Minister Gopal Rai told during the review meeting on Monday that due to increase in pollution after Diwali, the restrictions imposed will continue. And said that the Andy Dust campaign will also be extended for the next 15 days and no one will burn wood to warm their hands in winter.

Gopal Rai told that until the CAQM decides on the next meeting. Till then the people of Delhi will have to follow the rules of GRAP-4. And he told that only CNG and electric trucks have been allowed to move. There will still be a ban on BS-3 petrol and BS-4 diesel vehicles, except trucks carrying essential goods, there will be a ban on everything else.

Gopal Rai said that monitoring on all types of construction in Delhi has been made more strict. Earlier the Andi Dust campaign was run from 7 October to 7 November, but in view of the increasing pollution, it will be continued till 30 November. And also told that (anti open burning) there will be a ban on burning wood for warming hands in winter for the next one month. And 611 teams have been put on duty to take care of all this. And while appealing to the people of Delhi, he said that all of you should download the 'Green Delhi App', and if anyone is seen violating these rules, immediately inform the war room.

Gopal Rai told that the pollution level had reached 215-20. But after Diwali, due to burning of firecrackers in UP and Haryana, the pollution level has increased to 315-320. He has also held UP and Haryana governments responsible for these fireworks.
