The foundation was laid in 2019

On March 9, 2019, late Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation of this ambitious 8-lane expressway. This 8-lane can be expanded to 12-lane. This important expressway, built at a cost of Rs 90 thousand crores, has now been completed.

8 lane expressway will pass through these states

Mumbai Delhi Expressway will pass through five states including Haryana 129 km, Rajasthan 373 km, Madhya Pradesh 244 km, Gujarat 426 km and Maharashtra 171 km. More than 15,000 hectares of land has been used for the construction of the Delhi to Mumbai Expressway in these five states.

These cities will be directly connected

This 8 lane expressway will start from Gurgaon in Haryana and pass through Jaipur and Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan. After this, it will pass through Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh and Vadodara in Gujarat and end in Mumbai in Maharashtra. With the construction of Delhi Mumbai 8 lane expressway, connectivity will now improve to important cities like Jaipur, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Kota, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Ujjain, Indore, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Surat and Vadodara.
