Delhiites Will Now Get Relief From Traffic, Flyover Being Built on This Road
Delhi New Flyover: Preparations have started to free the six km long Pankha Road from Uttam Nagar Bus Terminal T-Point to Cariappa Road from traffic jam.
A senior official of the PWD Department said that Dabri Satram Mamtani Marg, Seva Marg and Pt. Vishnu Das Marg is a T-junction. Where there are often traffic jams. And this part of Pankha Road also remains jammed.
He was told that a new flyover has been built 1.25 km away from the existing flyover at Dabri roundabout. Which will not give signal to these three traffic lights. The plan was ready long ago and a consultant was asked to draw the map of the flyover, but no agency floated the tender for further action on the consultancy. Now a new consultancy is being appointed.

The work will be completed in two phases.
The department official said the flyover will be built in two phases the first between Dabri intersection to Cariappa Road and the second on the 6 km long stretch of Pankha Road towards Uttam Nagar bus terminal. Construction of the flyover will reduce traffic jam on this route.
