Delhi Toll Tax: Those wanting to go from Delhi to Uttarakhand will now have to pay toll at an additional place. Those going to Mawana will also have to pay toll tax. The National Highway Authority of India has almost completed the Mawana Bahsuma Bypass Highway up to Jhunjhuni village. Soon vehicles will run on it. The overbridge being built in Mussoorie will also be started in four days.

From January 2024, a plan is being made to collect toll at the toll plaza in front of Bhainsa village on Mawana-Bahsuma highway. By January 2024, about 40 km long highway from Meerut to Jhunjhuni village will be ready.

Payment of toll tax only through Fastag

Abhay Pratap Singh, Administrative Manager of the National Highway Authority of India, said that toll tax on the toll plazas constructed on the highway will be collected only through Fastag. This would be the only option. If you pay in cash, you will have to pay double the toll tax.

Four lane construction has been going on at Meerut Pauri on National Highway 119 for three years. Many bridges on this highway are open for traffic. Two days ago, the overbridge in front of Saini village on Mawana Road was opened. The vehicle drivers have got relief from the traffic jam there.

On the other hand, the overbridge being built in Mussoorie will be completed soon. The overbridge will be opened for traffic in four days. The overbridge being built near Jhunjhuni will also be completed this month. After this, vehicles will be able to run on the highway from Meerut to Jhunjhuni. Jhunjhuni village is about 40 km from Meerut.
