NHAI has decided to promote green cover in a major part of NH-48. Under which 4 small forests will be developed on this NH-48 through Miyawaki technique. The construction work of Dwarka Expressway is nearing completion. For this expressway, these forests will be developed on the clover leave to be built on NH-48 from Bajgheda.

The construction work of Dwarka Expressway reached the final stage

While inspecting the Dwarka Expressway, National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) Chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav informed that the opening of the Dwarka Expressway will increase connectivity between Gurugram and Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. The construction work of the Dwarka Expressway, which is being prepared to connect Delhi's Mahipalpur to Gurgaon Kherki Daula, is in the final stage. Under this project, about 19 km part of the road falls in Haryana. While 10 km part comes in Delhi.

Miyawaki technique will be adopted in developing forest

Based on the Miyawaki technique, plants will be planted at a very short distance from each other in the 4 small forests to be developed on this National Highway. And under this scheme, emphasis will be given only on species of plants growing mostly in the local soil. Miyawaki is the famous tree planting method of Japan. Through this technology, even the least space can be converted into small gardens and forests. These gardens will work to add beauty to the National Highway.
