During this period, schools will provide information on the portal till April, whose parents' income should be less than Rs 1 lakh eight hundred thousand. Only those students will be eligible for admission. Annual verified income of Family Identity Card will validate this income. Only students currently studying in government schools will be eligible for this program.

Under Chirag Scheme, students will be able to apply to private schools from March. Recognized private schools will first have to inform the education department about class-wise seats. Students studying from fourth to twelfth will be able to participate in this scheme.
