Haryana News: Thursday is going to be a very special day for the people of Haryana. The Chief Minister will gift development works worth more than Rs 3385 crore to all the 22 districts of the state.

Not only this, on this day more than 23 lakh poor families of the state will also get the gift of free bus travel. In its budget for 2024-25, the government had announced to provide free bus facility up to 1000 km annually to members of poor families.

It will be formally inaugurated on Thursday. More than 84 lakh members of 23 lakh families will benefit from this scheme. In the first phase, bus cards of 50 lakh people will be made. After this the rest will be given this facility.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate development works worth more than Rs 3385 crore 14 lakh across the state with the launch of this scheme from Indradhanush Auditorium in Panchkula on Thursday.

The Chief Minister will virtually lay the foundation stone and inaugurate these projects across the state. Apart from government ministers, MPs and MLAs, officials will be present in the districts. There are a total of 656 development projects as per the schedule decided so far. Of these, the Chief Minister will inaugurate 386 projects.
