Good News Came About Bridge Being Built on SYL in Ambala

Haryana News: Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that construction of three new bridges in Ambala district ((Ambala SYL Bridge) SYL Canal on link road from NH-152 (Ambala Hisar Road) to village Khaira, SYL The canal is being built on Narwana branch and parallel drain.

While replying to a question asked by a member of the House during the Assembly budget session here, he said that 85 percent work of the bridge on the SYL canal has been completed. He said the remaining work is on hold due to the ongoing litigation with the agency.

Therefore now the agency contract has been terminated. Dushyant Chautala said that tenders for the remaining work are being invited. And this work is likely to be completed by 30 September 2024. Apart from these, the work of bridge on Narwana branch and parallel drain has been completed.

Efforts underway to install common boiler in Panipat - Dushyant Chautala

In response to another member's question in the House, Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that the government is considering installing common boilers to make the industries of Panipat profitable. He informed that HSIIDC has appointed IIT Kanpur to re-assess the feasibility study of the common boiler in Panipat.

Dushyant Chautala further informed that industrial operations in NCR during high pollution levels during winter season have been brought under Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP), as per the directions of the Commission for Air Quality Management for National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas (CAQM). Is being regulated accordingly. He said there are no restrictions on operating boilers using approved fuels. Provided that all other applicable environmental norms including emissions are complied with.

In response to another member's question, Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala said that the work of land mapping is going on in Morni block of Kalka. He said that due to being a hilly area, the mapping work is taking time. Dushyant Chautala said that the government has tried to conduct the survey several times. He said that the government has purchased about 300 new rovers for land mapping. In such a situation, work will be done towards settlement only after land mapping.
