Soon the Police Housing Corporation will issue a tender for the construction work of the chilling plant.

Milk plant was opened in Bhiwani in 1972. At that time, more than two and a half thousand milk committees of the area were also associated with the plant and Bhiwani district played an important role in the milk revolution. Due to time and political ambitions, the milk plant of Bhiwani got connected to the milk plant of Rohtak, while only the chilling plant remained in Bhiwani. The machinery here was also shifted to Rohtak. Now only about 200 milk societies of Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri are connected to the chilling plant of Bhiwani.

New options will open in the direction of milk production

About 60 thousand liters of milk is produced daily in Bhiwani Chilling Plant. Which is sent to Rohtak Milk Plant for processing. At present many milk committees of Loharu, Siwani and Bahal areas are closed only because of this. Because there is huge transportation cost involved in bringing milk to Bhiwani Chilling Plant which is 65 to 70 km away. And it is becoming difficult to keep milk safe in the vehicle. In such a situation, the new chilling plant to be built on two acres of land in village Salempur will provide new options in the direction of milk production for the people of the area.

New milk committees will be ready in the area

People here will be able to increase their income from milk production by forming milk committees. With the construction of the chilling plant, more than 100 milk committees of more than 75 villages of Siwani, Loharu, Bahal and Singhani areas will be connected to it. The societies which were closed will now also be able to sell their milk production to Vita. New milk committees will also be formed in the area. In view of all these problems, due to the efforts of the Agriculture Minister, a new chilling plant of Vita will be started in Salempur village.
