Greenfield Highway 352-A: Could go from Jind to Delhi and Sonipat in less than the next two decades. Construction of Jind-Sonipat Greenfield National Highway 352-A has started on Jind to Gohana Road.

The Jind-Sonipat Greenfield National Highway will start from the major bypass near the new bus stand at Jind and join Delhi-Amritsar National Highway No. 1 at Sonipat.

A new road will be built in the fields of the existing road from Jind to Gohana.

NHAI has acquired 60 meter wide land. So that construction of six or eight lanes can be stopped in future. With the completion of this highway, trade in Jind will increase.

NHAI targets to complete the four-lane highway by August 2022.

Jind district in the BJP ruled state is connected to several national highways. These include Delhi-Katra Highway, Gangheri-Narnaul Highway Kurukshetra and Jind-Sonipat Greenfield Highway.

It will cost approximately Rs 817 crore to build a 40.601 km greenfield highway between Jind and Gohana. Agricultural land will be acquired to build a new four-lane highway from Jind to Gohana.

Whereas the 28.231 km long road from Gohana to Sonipat will be four-lane and bypass will be taken out from every village. The construction of this road will cost around Rs 899 crore.

Thus you will not have to stop anywhere from Jind to Sonipat. This project of NHAI will be completed for Rs 581 crore. NHAI had started purchasing land for the highway.

About 409 acres of land from 13 villages (Nirjan, Pidara, Lakhmirwala, Bara Khurd, Bara Kalan, Kharkramji, Chabri, Lalit Kheda, Bhirtana, Morkhi, Malsari Kheda, Bhambhewa and Siwanamal) has been given for the National Highway.
