Karnal District Administration has completed the work of purchasing the land by removing all the obstacles in this matter. Now in the month of February, the boundary wall of the lands authorized and purchased under this project will be done.

For this, the tender process has also been completed by the PWD department. Giving information from PWD officials, it was said that work on this can be started in the first week of February. For your information, let us tell you that the file of tender application for boundary wall of about 172 acres of land has gone to the headquarters. Approximately Rs 4.23 crore is to be spent on this work. This process will be completed by the end of this month. After this, the process of airport construction will also be started by Civil Aviation.

According to the project, the airstrip at Naval is to be increased from 3000 to 5000 feet. After this, even big airplanes will be able to fly easily from here, Karnal airport will be developed on the lines of Hisar airport. To expand the existing strip, 172 acres 3 Kanal 16 Marla land was required, out of which 106 acres 6 Kanal and 14 Marla land belongs to the government. Whereas 38 acres of land has been given by farmers on e-bhoomi portal. Now the problem of remaining 26 acres of land has also been resolved.
