Haryana CET: Big Shock To Candidates Regarding HSSC CET Main Exam, High Court Took This Big Decision
Yuva Patrkaar: On 6 and 7 August 2023, Common Eligibility Test (CET) Mains examinations were conducted for Group C recruitment in Haryana. Due to some flaws in these examinations, the matter reached the High Court. On August 8, a hearing was held in the HC regarding the CET Mains exam, in which the High Court allowed the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) to continue the exam, clearing the way for the Combined Eligibility Main exam.
CET mains exams can continue
A petition was filed on behalf of the Haryana government against the decision of the single batch. The High Court decided during the hearing that the mains examination of HSSC CET can continue. But its result will not be released without the permission of the High Court. The Punjab and Haryana High Court had stayed the examination which lasted for 2 days and a hearing was held on 8th August.

CET Mains exam being conducted in 5 districts
During the hearing on August 8, the appeal of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission against the single bench of the High Court was heard. HSSC appealed that the Haryana government is engaged in the preparation of conducting the CET Mains exam for the last 6 months. But due to one reason or the other they were not able to conduct the exam. The Commission observed that if the directions of the Single Bench are short. So this will affect the recruitment process. The CET exam was conducted in 5 districts. In which a total of 68,361 candidates appeared.

41 questions repeated the next day
During the hearing, HSSC appealed to continue the exam. Because of this, the High Court has ordered HSSC to continue the exam. So that the examination of other children is not interrupted in between. Ever since the category 56 and 57 exams have been done. Since then the examinees are raising the demand to cancel the paper. In the exam held on 6th and 7th August, there were about 41 questions which were repeated. There were some children who had given the exam for both the categories.
