Haryana News: Rewari Railway Junction is one of the well-known railway junctions. At present, there is a single railway line on this section of Rewari – Rings – Phulera railway route. Being a single railway line, this railway route is the busiest railway route. And this causes a lot of trouble to the operators.

On Friday, 16th February, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Rewari to lay the foundation stone of AIIMS construction work. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also approved the doubling of many railway lines in Haryana. He informed that the single railway line between Rewari – Narnaul will be doubled.

Doubling of Rewari Railway Line

The Rewari – Kathuwas rail section connecting Rewari and Alwar districts of Rajasthan will be doubled. Doubling of this railway section will ease the operation of trains. The distance between Rewari and Kathuwas is approximately 27.73 km. And for the construction of this part, the government had sanctioned Rs 352 crore in the financial year 2022-23. Along with this, the distance between Kathuwas and Narnaul is approximately 24.12 km. And the Government of India has passed a budget of Rs 313 crore for this in the financial year 2023-24.

Cost of Rs 655 crore

The construction of these two railway sections will be completed in two phases. About Rs 655 crore will be spent on the work of doubling this 51.85 km long railway line. With the doubling of Rewari railway line, commuting to Rewari as well as Delhi will become quite accessible.
