Haryana News: The Haryana government has given a big gift to the police personnel of the state. The government has decided to give mobile phone allowance every month to all the police personnel of the state, fulfilling the demand of the police personnel. On Monday, the Finance Department has also approved the proposal of the Home Department. This scheme for police personnel will come into effect from July 1. More than 50 thousand police personnel of Haryana will get benefit from this scheme of the government

Former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal had announced to give mobile recharge allowance during a program organized in Panchkula on the occasion of International Anti-Drug Day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking on June 26, 2023, in a dialogue with SHO, CIA in-charge, Thana Munshi and Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau (HSNCB) as well as officers and personnel of various police units
Meanwhile, Manohar Lal had also announced to give Rs 3000 every month to the clerks deployed for guest reception in the police stations. However, this announcement has not been implemented on the ground yet

According to the letter issued by the Home Secretary of Haryana, constables and head constables will get an amount of Rs 200 for mobile recharge. Along with this, ASI (Assistant Sub Inspector) will be given Rs 250, SI Rs 300 and Inspector Rs 400 as mobile recharge allowance. Mobile allowance will be payable from March 1

Finance Department also gave green signal
Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has made special efforts to get this announcement of the government fulfilled. The Finance Department has given the green signal to get mobile recharge allowance to constables, head constables, assistant sub-inspectors, sub-inspectors and inspectors of Haryana Police. To ensure this, the Home Department has written a letter to the Director General of Police on Monday and directed to give mobile recharge allowance. In such a situation, policemen will benefit from this new scheme of the government.
