Haryana Govt Has increased The Ex-Gratia Amount of Martyred
Haryana Govt Scheme 2024: Haryana Finance Minister Manohar Lal presented the last budget of his second term today. It is a matter of pride for me to present the budget for the fifth consecutive time. The Chief Minister said that this year's budget is Rs 1 lakh 89 thousand crore. Which is 11 percent more than the previous budget. This time no new tax has been imposed in the Haryana budget.
Important gift to freedom fighters
The Chief Minister said the proposed allocation of Rs 140.53 crore for the military and paramilitary sector in the budget for financial year 2024-25 is 45.51% more than the revised estimate for the current year. The monthly honorarium of freedom fighters has been increased from Rs 25,000 to Rs 40,000.

Important gifts to the families of martyrs
CM Manohar Lal announced that the ex-gratia amount given to the families of soldiers martyred in the war will be increased from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 1 crore. Be they from Defense Services or Central Armed Police Forces, the martyrs are soldiers.
He said that three Armed Forces Preparation Institutes (AFPI) will be created in the state to prepare the people of Haryana to serve in defense and paramilitary services.
