Haryana News: Tuesday was the sixth day of the budget session of Haryana Assembly. On Tuesday, the proceedings of the Assembly were started with Question Hour. After this, the budget was discussed and Chief Minister Manohar Lal answered all these related questions. Due to the displeasure of the opposition MLAs due to there being no provision for appeal in the Haryana Dead Body Disposal Bill, the government has withdrawn it.

Electricity connections will be available in Dhanis

Chief Minister Manohar Lal said during the Assembly session that there are families living in Deros and Dhanis away from Phirni in the villages of Haryana. All such families will now be given electricity connections by the government. CM said that electricity connections will be provided by the Electricity Corporation at its own expense in the bus deros and dhanis up to 300 meters away from Phirni of the village.

Government will bear all the expenses

During the assembly session, the CM told that 50% of the total cost of electricity connection in Dhanis and Daras situated within a distance of three kilometers will be borne by the state government. Along with this, he said that the consumers of camps and dhanis want to get electricity connection from rural feeder instead of table. The entire cost of their transformer will be borne by the government. For this, consumers will have to pay only the cost of the new line.
