Haryana News: 2 Lakh Poor People Will Soon Get Flats & Plots, Manohar Govt Started The Application Process
Chandigarh :- As you all know. Chief Minister Housing Scheme has been run by the government to provide houses to the poor class people. The aim of this scheme is. That poor people get their own houses. The government is also making very little progress in this direction. Haryana government had announced about a month ago that one lakh poor families would be given plots and flats at affordable rates.
More than 2 lakh applications came on the scheme portal
Gradually their number will increase. The application process for these flats and plots is currently going on. So far, more than 2 lakh applications have been received on the portal opened under this scheme. In the first phase of the scheme, the government will provide flats or plots to those people whose annual income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh. While talking to the media in Chandigarh on Friday, CM Manohar Lal said that the policy related to this scheme will be released on November 1.

Government will arrange loan
Since these are all poor people. Therefore, there will be problem in giving them the lump sum price of the plot and flat, in such a situation the government has taken a decision. That after giving the down payment, the remaining loan will be arranged by the government through various banks at affordable interest rates. You will be able to take loan for a period of up to 20 years. The government has decided. That flats will be provided to poor people in Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat and Panchkula. In the remaining districts, a plan has been made to provide plots of 25 square yards. The price of the plot will be around one lakh, whereas the price of a 450 square feet flat can range from six to eight lakhs depending on the condition of the cities.

Government will also sell Housing Board flats
Under various schemes for the poor, flats were built by the Housing Board in many cities and towns of the state. CM admitted that these plans could not be realized. This is the big reason for this. That these flats were built without seeking applications from the people. Later people did not take interest in them. Now the government is preparing to sell these flats also. Many schemes related to Housing Board have also been canceled by the government.
