Haryana News : Big Decision of Haryana Govt, 9 IAS Officers Transferred
Haryana IAS Transfer : Haryana government on Sunday transferred nine Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. In the transfer list, it was announced to make Sudhir Rajpal the new Home Secretary. However, a few hours later, the state government released a revised transfer list late on Sunday evening in which it was told that the responsibility of the Home Department has again been handed over to T.V.S.N Prasad.
Government issued order
However, no reason was given by the government for amending the order. Earlier in the day, nine Indian Administrative Service officers were transferred under transfer orders issued by the government and Rajpal was appointed as the new Home Secretary.
According to the order issued earlier, Sudhir Rajpal replaced TV S N Prasad, who was also handling the administration of prisons, criminal investigation and justice department.

Know who was transferred where
As per the revised order, Prasad, a 1988 batch IAS officer, has also been posted as the Financial Commissioner of the Departments of Revenue and Disaster Management and Consolidation. He will have the responsibility of the already existing departments including Home, Jail, Criminal Investigation and Justice Administration.
He will also continue to serve as Chief Resident Commissioner and ACS Cooperative Department at Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi. Rajpal, a 1990-batch officer who was Additional Chief Secretary in the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Civil Aviation departments, has now been posted as ACS in the School Education, Cooperation and Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship departments, as per the revised order.
Who will take charge of the Principal Secretary?
Sumita Mishra will look after the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs department. She will also continue to work as ACS of the Department of Medical Education and Research. Raj Shekhar Vundru, posted as ACS of Housing for All and Foreign Cooperation departments, will now also look after the Civil Aviation Department.
V Umashankar, Chief Minister and Principal Secretary to the Government of Haryana, will also take charge as Principal Secretary of the Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture and Foreign Cooperation departments.
Vijayendra Kumar is now posted as Principal Secretary of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department and Military and Para Military Welfare Department. The other IAS officer transferred is Amneet P Kumar. Who has now been posted as Commissioner and Secretary of the Women and Child Development Department.
