Haryana News: Govt's Diwali Gift To Raw Employees of Haryana, Chief Minister Approved
Haryana News: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has given big relief to the employees working on contract, adhoc and daily wages. After the approval of CM, now such employees will be able to apply for government regular recruitment till the age of 52 years.
Under the new rules, Haryana Civil Services (General) Second Amendment Rules, 2023, exemption will be given to employees working in any department, board, corporation and government-aided institution. According to the new rules, employees will get age relaxation equal to the number of years completed in the previous job.
Employees working in government departments, boards, corporations and government-aided institutions will be eligible for this. Under the rules, employees can avail the benefit of age relaxation only once.

The new notification states. That once a person is appointed on regular basis in any Department, Board and Corporation of the Government of Haryana with the benefit of age relaxation. So he will not be eligible for any subsequent appointment. Will not be entitled to avail its benefits.

To bring transparency in the recruitment process, Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) and Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) will verify the experience certificates issued by the previous appointing authorities before considering the candidates for age relaxation.

At present, the minimum age limit for entry into regular government service is 18 years. Whereas the upper age limit is 42 years. However, the entry age for some jobs is around 42 years depending on the nature of duties.

Meanwhile, candidates from SC, BC and Economically Weaker Sections for the posts of police personnel like Constable and ASI, where the upper age limit is less than 42 years. They are also eligible for age relaxation of five years.

As far as ex-servicemen are concerned. Including Short Service Commissioned and Emergency Commissioned officers, they are eligible for additional age relaxation of three years to the extent of military service.
