Narnaul :- The festival of Raksha bandhan was celebrated across the country on 30th August. On the occasion of Raksha bandhan festival, Haryana government had announced to provide free travel in buses to women and children above 15 years of age. On August 30, women were given the benefit of free bus service. Haryana Roadways provided the facility of free travel in ordinary buses from 12:00 noon on Wednesday, 29th August to 12:00 midnight on Thursday, 30th August.

Passengers had to travel standing in buses

Due to free bus travel, more and more women took advantage of the bus service on 30 August. There was so much crowd at the bus stand that the number of buses also reduced. Due to which the passengers had to face a lot of problems. Many buses were so overcrowded that women and children had to travel standing in the buses.

Due to lack of buses in the depot commensurate with the number of passengers, many passengers had to travel by means other than buses. Not only this, the passengers standing at the bus stand were also rushing to board the buses, in such a situation some incident or the other could have happened to them. Despite this, passengers boarded the buses taking risks. Despite the additional buses deployed by the government and additional trips made by various buses, the passengers have to face a lot of trouble.

Sisters came to jail to tie Rakhi

Sisters also reached Narnaul jail to tie Rakhi to their imprisoned brothers. While tying Rakhi, tears were seen in the eyes of sisters and brothers. This scene was disturbing to the mind. All the prisoners and sisters became very emotional together. The jail administration had also made arrangements for rakhis and sweets inside for the sisters.
