Haryana News: Tuesday was the sixth day of the budget session in the Assembly. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal's last budget of his tenure as Finance Minister i.e. 2024-25 was presented. During this, the CM emphasized on the development of farmers, youth and the state. He said that it is a matter of pride for me to present the budget for the fifth consecutive time. This time there will be a budget of Rs 89 thousand crores which is 11% more than the previous budget.  No new tax imposed  Giving relief to the people of Haryana, the Chief Minister announced that no new tax will be imposed this year. During this time, the Chief Minister has announced loan, interest and penalty waiver of 5,47,000 farmers of Haryana. Rs 1000 crore will be spent in the budget for urban development. CM Manohar Lal announced that the amount of Rs 50 lakh being given to the families of soldiers martyred in the war will now be increased to Rs 1 crore.  15000 Pension to media workers  In the budget for the year 2024-25, the pension of media workers has been increased from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 per month. For information, let us tell you that at present 193 media personnel are availing the benefit of monthly pension. The government has now increased the insurance coverage of media personnel from Rs 5,00,000 to Rs 10 lakh.  Plan approved for digital connectivity  The Chief Minister said that with the aim of providing a single window portal to government portals and services, the revised Jan Sahayak Mobile App has been launched in the year 2023. A scheme to improve digital connectivity at the Gram Panchayat level with an expenditure of Rs 130 crore has been approved. Not only this, 7079 optical fiber connections have been given to village secretariats, government schools, health centers and other places during the Panchayat session.  Aravali Safari Park will be built in thousand acres  The Chief Minister said that Aravali Areca Park will be built on 10,000 acres of land in Gurgaon and Nuh districts. DPR is being prepared for submitting this project to the Central Zoo Authority.  Integrated Aviation Hub to be built in Hisar  The Chief Minister said that many important steps have been taken in the budget for the development of civic gardening industry in the state. Integrated Division Hub will be developed in Hisar. A proposal has been made to start helicopter in Gurugram. Study work will be done for the construction of helipads in eight districts.
