Widows and divorced women will get benefits

The objective of the scheme run by Women and Child Development Corporation is to provide subsidy to widows and divorced women. Till now, under this scheme, subsidy of up to Rs 638.68 lakh has been given to 256 widow women. Under this scheme, women can get a loan of up to Rs 3 lakh to start business like tailoring, embroidery, readymade clothes shop, boutique, stationery, pickle, food processing material, bakery, general store, grocery, spice, e-rickshaw, auto etc. are given.

The amount will reach directly into the accounts of the beneficiaries

For information, let us tell you that this loan given by the department will be sent directly to the bank account of the beneficiary. To avail the benefits of this scheme, the age of the beneficiary should be between 18 to 60 years. Apart from this, it is mandatory for the applicant to have documents like ration card, family identity card (PPP), project report, experience certificate, two passport size photographs, husband's death certificate, residential certificate, Aadhar card etc.

Beneficiary will have to pay 10% share

Apart from this, in relation to the timely payment of loan to the beneficiary women, Haryana women and Child Vikas Nigam will provide 100% interest subsidy for 3 years at the prevailing interest rate of banks or Rs 50 thousand, whichever is earlier. 10% of the loan given by the government will have to be paid by the beneficiary himself while the rest of the loan will be provided by commercial nationalized and cooperative banks. The objective of this scheme of the government is to make more and more women self-reliant.
