This is such a disease. There is a lot of expenditure in its treatment. Haryana Government has also included patients suffering from 55 rare diseases in this pension.
Patients suffering from these diseases will get pension
Haryana government has announced to provide pension of Rs 2750 per month to provide financial assistance to cancer victims. This pension will be given only to patients suffering from third and fourth stage cancer. Patients suffering from brain cancer, blood cancer and hearing cancer are included in this pension. Apart from this, 55 other rare diseases like hemophilia, spinal muscular atrophy, thalassemia, Pompe disease and Duchenne muscular dystrophy have been included.

Will focus on the recovery of patients
Panchkula CMO Dr Mukta Kumar during the press conference said that the Haryana government will help in reducing the financial burden of treating patients suffering from cancer and other rare 55 diseases and will help the patients focus on their recovery. . This step taken by the government to help the patients is quite commendable.
Main conditions for beneficiaries
Apart from this, CMO said that in Panchkula district, 104 patients suffering from various diseases have already been registered for pension. Apart from this, the District Health Department said that there is a main condition to avail the benefits of this scheme. That the family income of the patient should be Rs 3 lakh per year or less. He said that the benefit of this scheme will be given only to the patients who need the most financial assistance.
