Weather Forecast: Due to the partial impact of Western Disturbance in the state of Haryana, there is a possibility of partly cloudy sky and intermittent winds in most areas of the state during March 5 and 6.

During this period, there is a possibility of slight increase in night temperature and drop in day temperature. But the weather is likely to remain clear and dry from March 7 to March 9. During this period, there is a possibility of winds blowing at light speed. Due to which there is a possibility of a slight increase in the day temperature in the state but a slight drop in the night temperature.

Weather System: Western Disturbance is currently being observed as a cyclonic circulation over North Pakistan and its neighbourhood. Which ranges from 3.1 km to 12.6 km above mean sea level. It is now seen as a trough in the mid-tropospheric westerly winds. Whose axis is located 5.8 km above sea level.

The trough runs at approximately 72°E longitude and 32°E latitude. The depression between 3.1 and 12.6 km above sea level has become less noticeable due to yesterday's Western Disturbance over the Northeast Arabian Sea.

A trough extending 0.9 km above sea level extends from southwest Madhya Pradesh to north interior Karnataka.

The cyclonic circulation extending up to 1.5 km above sea level has weakened over West Punjab and adjoining areas.

Possible weather activity during the next 24 hours

A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayan region from the night of March 05. Due to its effect, there is a possibility of sporadic light/moderate rainfall in the Western Himalayan region during 05 to 07 March.

A fresh and relatively weak Western Disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayan region from the night of 05 March 2024.

There is a possibility of scattered rain/snow over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on 05 March.

Scattered light/moderate rainfall with thunderstorm, gusty winds (30-40 kmph) very likely over Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Sikkim on 05 March.
