Haryana Weather: With the cold wave, the minimum night temperature in North India has increased slightly to 1.6 degrees Celsius, whereas earlier it was 0.6 degrees. However, with this increase, there has been no reduction in the intensity of cold. The effect of cold wave is likely to be more in 10 districts of North India including Hisar.

Hybrid mode started in schools
Due to the deterioration of Air Quality Index (AQI-High-Pollution) in seven cities, instructions have been given to conduct studies in hybrid mode for other classes except 10th and 12th classes in schools. This will protect the students from pollution as well as maintain continuity in education.

Further drop in minimum temperature expected
Wednesday is expected to be the coldest day so far in Karnal. According to the Meteorological Department (Weather-Forecast), the temperature may fall further on Tuesday and Wednesday night, which may make the cold wave situation more severe.

Local residents facing cold
In Bhiwani, people are facing a lot of trouble due to cold and fog, especially in the morning and evening. With the fall in temperature, people need to take more precautions to protect themselves from the cold.

Cold wave wreaks havoc in neighboring states too
The temperature has dropped drastically due to the effect of cold wave in neighboring states including Rajasthan and Punjab. The minimum temperature in Fatehpur, Rajasthan remained below zero degrees Celsius, while the temperature in Faridkot, Punjab also dropped to zero. The effect of cold has increased further due to incidents of snowfall in Uttarakhand.
