Haryana's Education Department Announced Holidays For all Kids From Class 1st To Class 5th
Haryana School Holiday: The Education Department had declared winter holiday from January 1 to January 15. In view of the falling minimum temperature amid dense fog and cold wave, this holiday was extended till January 20.
In view of the severe cold in Haryana, the government has extended the holidays from classes 1 to 5. Children will be given leave till 27th January. Education Minister Kanwarpal Gurjar announced this.

Haryana schools reopened on Tuesday after a 22-day holiday. But due to cold the government extended the holidays. Government schools open from Tuesday at 9:30 am. Many private schools opened in the state at 10 am. Schools used to open at 9 am before winter vacations.
The Education Department announced winter vacation from January 1. The winter vacation of students from classes I to III has been extended till January 20. Given the minimum temperature falling amidst dense fog and cold wave. There will be a holiday on Sunday, January 21 and January 22 for the consecration of the idol in Shri Ram Temple, Ayodhya. Schools reopened on Tuesday, but will now reopen on January 29 due to cold weather.
