High Speed Bullet Train: These villages of Haryana will get high speed train connectivity, land prices have increased
High Speed Bullet Train: The Government of India is working on a high-speed bullet train project between Delhi and Amritsar known as the Delhi-Amritsar High-Speed Railway Corridor. The main objective of this 465 km long route is to dramatically reduce travel time and make it more safe and economical.
Travel experience with high speed
This bullet train project, which will have a maximum speed of 350 kmph, will complete the journey from Delhi to Amritsar in just 2-3 hours, which earlier took 6-7 hours. In this way, this project will not only reduce the travel time but will also change the passenger experience.
Land acquisition and compensation to farmers
The land required for the project will be acquired from 321 villages, in which the affected farmers are planned to be given compensation five times the market value of their land. This can be fair and beneficial for the farmers, as they will get a fair price for their land.
Timeline and expectations of the project
This bullet train project is planned to be completed by 2030. Currently, the work is in progress as per the plan and it is being given high priority by the concerned authorities. The success of the project will not only reduce the distance between Delhi and Amritsar but will also contribute to regional economic development.
Benefits and social impact of bullet train
The bullet train will not only reduce travel time but will also strengthen improved-road-connectivity and trade relations between Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana and Punjab. It will also create new opportunities for tourism and employment, which will also benefit the local communities.
Farmers' response
Farmers have mixed reactions to the project. Some farmers are satisfied with the compensation amount, while others are worried about the loss of their land. Dialogue between the government and farmers is ongoing to resolve this issue so that the project can be implemented smoothly.
