Highways Will Be Built in Uttar Pradesh at a Cost of Rs 2k Crore, Land Acquisition Process Started
UP News: Traffic has increased due to improvement in roads. Now Ballia, Sikandarpur and Belthara road routes will connect to Gorakhpur. Construction of NHC 727B from Fazilnagar to Ballia will start soon.
NHAI is expediting the land acquisition process after getting Rs 2,000 crore for the first phase. The department has finalized the land acquisition documents and sent them to the concerned tehsils. 1008380 hectares of land will be taken from various places in Sikandarpur.
There is a plan to build a four-lane paved shoulder from Belthara Road tehsil of the district to Sikandarpur. Will have a width of 10 meters. Presently the National Highway, which is about 26 km long. It is only seven meters wide. At some places it is even less. Besides, the department is also exploring ways to prevent busy markets like Sukhpura and Khejuri from getting damaged.

DPR has not been made yet. But department officials say. That it will also be finalized in the next financial year. Land will be acquired from March to April.
