Heavy rain warning issued

Warning of heavy rain has also been issued in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram and instructions have been given to take precautions against landslides in these areas. While heavy rain activity will continue in some areas of Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Orissa, the sky will be cloudy and a drop of 2 to 3% in temperature will be recorded.

Increase in temperature in some areas

At present, increase in temperature is being seen in some areas of Vidarbha, Maharashtra including Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh. However, the minimum temperature continues to fall. The minimum temperature in Uttar Pradesh has dropped to 22 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature in the capital is being recorded at 17 degrees Celsius.
