Weather Today Update: For your information, let us tell you that with the arrival of the New Year, the weather may change in the northwestern parts of the country. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in the northwest including Delhi between December 30 and January 2.

The weather department says. That a western disturbance will affect the entire northwest India from December 29 when it will interact with low level easterly winds. As a result, there is a possibility of rain in northwestern areas including Central India from 30 December to 2 January 2024.

Weather in and around Delhi

The temperature in the plains of North India including Delhi is 1 to 3 degrees above normal. Therefore, the weather will remain dry for the next five days and there will be no rain. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in Delhi NCR will be 7 to 8 degrees Celsius from December 26. IMDI said that the wind speed in Delhi and surrounding areas may be between four to eight. Apart from this, there may also be light fog in New Delhi in the morning between Monday to Friday.

It is expected to rain in these areas of the country.

At present there is a cyclonic circulation over the south-west Arabian Sea. These circulations can also be seen in and around Bangladesh. There is a possibility of snowfall in the hilly areas of Western Vibhoksha Himalayas also. Due to which there is a possibility of light rain in Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. An alert of dense fog has been issued in Punjab, Haryana and North Madhya Pradesh in the morning of 25th December.
