In such a situation, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of dense to very dense fog in North-West India during the coming 3-4 days.
Dense fog will cover these states
India Meteorological Department said that in the coming 24 hours, Rajasthan, North West Madhya Pradesh will be under the grip of fog and on December 31, dense fog will be seen in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram and Tripura. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for fog in Punjab, Haryana including Delhi NCR for today. Today on Friday, there was dense fog in Delhi NCR throughout the day.
New western disturbance will bring rain
IMD said that amidst the harsh winter, rain can also cause problems soon. Due to the latest western disturbance forming between December 31 and January 2, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Central There is a possibility of light scattered rain in the state, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha. Whereas heavy rain is possible in Tamil Nadu on 30 and 31 December.
Private weather agency issued this forecast
According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet, in the coming 48 hours, dense to very dense fog may occur in many parts of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh at night and in the morning. Apart from this, fog may also occur in Odisha, North Rajasthan, North Western Madhya Pradesh and North Eastern states.
