On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for fog in Punjab, Haryana including Delhi NCR for today. Today on Friday, there was dense fog in Delhi NCR throughout the day.

According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet, in the coming 48 hours, dense to very dense fog may occur in many parts of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh at night and in the morning. Apart from this, fog may also occur in Odisha, North Rajasthan, North Western Madhya Pradesh and North Eastern states.
