UP 6 New Expressway: These new trains will directly connect every district of the state and will also increase connectivity with neighboring states. Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi gave this information.

Fifty percent of the total expressways across the country will be built in Uttar Pradesh, the Industrial Development Minister said at a function at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan on Friday. This target will be achieved by the proposed six new expressways after the five expressways. The state currently has Agra-Lucknow Expressway, Purvanchal Expressway, Bundelkhand Expressway, Gorakhpur Link Expressway and Ganga Expressway. Among these, both Gorakhpur Link Expressway and Ganga Expressway are being built.

Prayagraj-Varanasi Expressway (110 km), Meerut-Haridwar Expressway (110 km), Shahjahanpur-Bareilly via Rampur, Rudrapur Expressway to Uttarakhand border, Chitrakoot to Prayagraj Expressway, Jhansi link NH-27 to Bundelkhand Expressway, Chitrakoot to Bundelkhand Expressway Vindhya. Expressway Mirzapur and Lucknow-Kanpur Expressway Nandi said that UP currently has 37.7% of the total expressways in the country. After six new proposals the stake will increase to twenty-five percent.
