Pragyan Rover Sleep Mode : Chandrayaan-3's rover 'Pragyan' has completed its work on the surface of the Moon. And now it has gone into sleep mode.

ISRO chief S Somnath had said that the rover and lander of Chandrayaan-3 sent to the Moon are working properly. And since it will now be night on the Moon, they will be “deactivated”. ISRO said in a post on 'X', "The rover has completed its task.

He said it has now been parked safely. and is set to sleep mode. The APXS and LIBS 'payloads' are locked. Data from these payloads are transmitted to Earth via the lander.

Rover's battery is fully charged

He said, “At present the rover's battery is fully charged. And its solar panels are oriented to receive light at the next sunrise, expected on the moon on September 22, 2023. Chandrayaan's receiver has been kept on.

ISRO chief gave this information in his address from the Mission Control Center after the successful launch of the first Surya mission 'Aditya L1' from the space center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
