Rain lashed many parts of North India including West UP and Delhi NCR today, bringing some respite from the sultry heat. In the northeastern states too, rain accompanied by lightning has made life miserable for the people. Due to which the situation is getting worse. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rains in many states of the country.

According to the IMD, a warning of torrential rain accompanied by lightning and thunderclouds has been issued in Maharashtra's Vidarbha region for the next two days. Along with this, heavy rains can be seen in Saurashtra of Gujarat and coastal areas of Karnataka and Telangana. Heavy rain warning has been issued in many districts of Madhya Pradesh.

A warning of heavy rain has been issued in the capital Bhopal, Indore. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder in the evening, Sonkach, Hatod, Mhow. Along with this, heavy rain with strong wind is expected in Gwalior and Jabalpur.

According to the IMD, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in South Chhattisgarh, South-East Gujarat, Vidarbha, Marathwada and North Madhya Maharashtra. Along with this, heavy rains may occur over Konkan and Goa, parts of Telangana, parts of Gujarat.

At the same time, rains can be seen in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Coastal Karnataka. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain in Jammu and Kashmir, some areas of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan, Gujarat and North Chhattisgarh.
