MP weather : Weather Will Change Again Due To New System, Chances of Heavy Rain From Sep. 24, Know Latest Forecast of IMD

According to MP Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain in Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Dhar, Ujjain, Agar, Rajgarh and Indore in the afternoon.
 

MP Weather Alert Today : After continuous rains in Madhya Pradesh, many rivers including Narmada, Shipra, Kalisindh, Chambal are in spate. Same . Today Monday has been declared holiday in schools of 4 districts. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the new system being active in the Bay of Bengal, a period of heavy rains may start again from September 24. Today, light to moderate rains are expected in a dozen districts. Yellow alert has been issued in 16 districts regarding lightning and flashing.

Chances of rain in these districts today

According to MP Meteorological Department, there are chances of moderate to heavy rains in Neemuch, Mandsaur and Ratlam along with light rains in Jhabua, Alirajpur, Dhar, Barwani, Khargone, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Shivpuri, Morena, Anuppur, Rewa, Sidhi and Singrauli.

There is a possibility of light rain in Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Dhar, Ujjain, Agar, Rajgarh and Indore in the afternoon.

On Monday, there may be heavy rain at isolated places in Alirajpur, Dhar, Jhabua and Ratlam districts of Madhya Pradesh bordering Gujarat and Rajasthan. There is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in the districts of Indore and Ujjain divisions. The weather will start clearing in the districts of the remaining divisions.

What does the meteorological department's forecast say?

According to MP Meteorological Department, from today Monday the system formed in the Bay of Bengal will weaken and it will move towards Gujarat, due to which light to moderate rain is expected for 3-4 days. But on September 20-21, a new system will be active again from the Bay of Bengal, due to which a period of heavy rains may start from September 24. There is a possibility of rainfall in Gwalior from September 22 due to two systems becoming active in the Bay of Bengal and Jammu and Kashmir on September 21. Let us tell you that so far the average rainfall in the state has been 35.33 inches. Whereas it should have been 35.64. Now the overall rainfall in the state is only 1% less. At present only Bhopal, Guna, Ashoknagar, Damoh, Satna, Rewa, Sidhi and Singrauli districts are included in the Red Zone.

Rain expected in Indore-Jabalpur division after September 20

According to MP Meteorological Department, there will be respite from next two to three rains in Indore but it will be cloudy and there may be light drizzle. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Alirajpur, Jhabua and Barwani. Due to the activation of a low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal on September 21, Indore is once again expected to receive heavy rains from September 22 to 24. In Jabalpur and the districts of the division, the weather will remain like this for two days, there will be drizzle along with cloud cover. There may be light rain in the districts of the division including Jabalpur from September 20. There is a possibility of drizzle at isolated places in the next 24 hours.

CM reviewed the conditions of these districts

CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has described the adequate rainfall in the state as pleasant. He said that due to the grace of Lord Mahakal, there has been adequate rainfall in the state. There is enough water in ponds and dams. And power production is improving. At some places, excessive rainfall has caused inconvenience. Three people stranded in Ujjain have been taken to safe places by helicopter. There was waterlogging at many places in Khargone, Khandwa, Barwani, Dhar and Indore districts, but now the situation is improving. The amount of water being released from the dams has reduced. The weather is also opening now. The rain has been very beneficial. But there has also been some inconvenience. Citizens should not worry, relief amount will be made available after conducting a survey of the damage caused by heavy rains.
