New Expressway: Almost fifty percent of the work on Gurugram-Rewari Highway has been completed. The construction company has been given a target by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to complete the project worth about Rs 900 crore by March.

There are 20 underpasses/flyovers on this 46 km long highway. An area of six kilometers will become greenfield.

At present, people have to take the Delhi-Jaipur Highway to reach Rewari from Gurugram.

The under construction Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari National Highway will give the people here an opportunity to reach Rewari easily.

Connectivity will also be available from Rohtak and Jhajjar. There will be one ROB, two flyovers, three interchanges and underpasses on this route. Dheeraj Singh, former project director, said the completion date of the highway is March 2024.

He was told that about fifty percent of the highway work has been completed. Two dozen underpasses were built on the highway, but this number has been increased as per demand. Earlier the last date for its completion was December.

Gurugram-Rewari highway will also be connected to Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway. People coming from Delhi will also be able to reach Jaipur through Rewari Highway. Secondly, people coming from Rohtak will also get benefits.
